This was a touching story that too many people, male & female, go through. Mecca didn't feel loved by her mom but more used. Her mother's boyfriend & two younger daughters were priority over Mecca. So she started making up things so that the others girls would like her. Sometimes "Godly" people are the worse when it comes to forgiveness. They don't always practice what they preach which ends up hurting more than healing.
This book speaks volumes to many girls. The search to be loved and important to anyone. Very good read. Would tell anyone to read this book old or young

A very good book
This book is for the ladies born back in the 70's and in the early 90's , at this time a lot of Grandmother's played the Mama Role and the daughter's desired a Mother daughter relationship with their birth Mother, but thank God for Grandma's Love. Love Conquers All
