I read first two books, Knight's Acre and The Homecoming from the stacks at the library. They didn't have this final book of the trilogy, so I bought it. Glad I did. Wish she'd written more before she passed away. I have enjoyed other books by Norah Lofts, and love the area near Bury St. Edmunds, England, where she is from.

Even though the print was very small in this book, the content was easy reading and enjoyable.
Norah Lofts has written several trilogies and this is one of them. It might be my favorite. It is about a knight and his lady. He leaves her to go to a joust and becomes a slave in a far away country. A beautiful woman helps him to escape and they return home to England. He is so happy to get home to his wife Sybilla. But now he has two women in love with him and no clue how to handle the situation. I don't want to give too much away so will stop here but there are lots of details about England in that time which are so interesting.
This book arrived in very good condition, and I enjoyed reading it. There were no missing pages or other items to mar my enjoyment. Thank you very much for your fine establishment.
