THE STORY
Thadius McKinney is an ordinary ranch hand working for cattle baron, Aaron Wyatt. Life seems good newly married and with plans to start a family. When he returns from a cattle drive, eager to see his young bride, he find her in the arms of his boss. Something inside him snaps. Two gunblasts later and McKinney is forced to flee into the night, leaving Wyatt horribly wounded.
Wyatt wants vengeance and sets his thugs on McKinney's trail with the order to kill him. They thought the job would be easy but soon they discover that McKinney is a very resourceful man and their numbers become quickly reduced. McKinney joins force with Missouri Clay and John Kartell when he discovers that he is not the only one to loathe Wyatt and all he stands for. Wyatt's men should have killed him because now, even when his back-trail is littered with bodies, the fighting isn't over. The hunted decide it is time for McKinney's Revenge. But it doesn't come without cost.

I thoroughly enjoyed this book. It is a good western read. Lots of action. Lots of good guys and interesting bad guys. It is an easy read and the plot is interesting. I liked it so much I bought another on with the same character. Have not read it yet but I know it will be a good book. There is enough action to hold your interest and the book does not plod along like some books can. Well worth the time to read it.Product details

A book to help kill some time before falling asleep. OK, but won't keep you awake. I slept soundly after each read.
Good action very easy reading. I think the books should be a little longer. This is kinda like an old dime short story
Enjoyed the book all the way. Hero was believable and the wife who"done him wrong" gave a tug at the heart. I will seek to read other's by this author.
This is a better than average old time Western. It presents a good story, is reasonably well written, has interesting characters and there is plenty of action. I enjoyed reading this book and can't think of a downside for fans of the Western Genre.
A well written tale of a cowhands 18year old wife who chooses the wrong path and ends up dead with Her lover as well. The cowboy gets His revenge but has lost his wife. The book is fast moving with lists of adventure.
I liked McKinley. This was my first Mike Stotter western adventure, but it won't be my last. Lots of interesting plot twists and turns and Stotter's description of the geography and culture was not exactly Louis Lamour, but it was good enough to create some great word pictures.
