And he has had his eye on Marie for a very long time. But being human she's always been off limits for him. But now she's putting herself in danger by dating vampires. The White Knight in him just cant let her walk into something she knows nothing about. So he agrees to help her in her search for the perfect vampire. All the while keeping a very close eye on her.

I love this series, each book can be read as a stand alone but I would highly recommend starting at the beginning with Beauty Dates the Beast. They are all very well written, fun and sexy.

Jessica Sims also writes as Jill Myles, and Jessica Clare, if you like this book I think you'll like the other series she also writes. Some paranormal/romance, some are just very nice romantic/comedies (Chick Lit, I call them). They are all great.

The Midnight Liaisons series is a very enjoyable one and this is no less than the others that have gone before it. Joshua is adorable, Marie a little silly but understandably so and the writing as always flows and is amusing.

However this book is more expensive than the others and whilst I don't mind as the author has to earn a living, I am not sure that it is that much better for the extra price. This is a sweet story but it follows the same pattern as the others so the price change doesn't sit well. If it was extraordinary then maybe but it's not. It is a good book and a good series and entertains but there are so many other good ones out there as well for less. Something to remember perhaps!
I have read the two previous books in this series. It was so good. It was funny and sexy and a little frustrating because Marie was a pain. Marie does not have long to live so she thinks her only solution is being turned into a vampire. But Josh thinks she is walking dangerously close to never coming back. It was a sweet story of wanting to be with the one person in the world that makes sense but not able to do anything but watch that person try to find help from someone or something else.
Get this book and even Beauty Date the Beast and Desperately Seeking Shapeshifter
This novel is the apitame of romance, charming boy meets girl, girl can't stand boy, boy schemes his way into girls heart. Beautiful I loved this story, enough so that I will go back and read the others before this.
I fell in love with josh and his charming ways, he definitely can charm the panties off any woman both young and old. I loved his gentle heart and his persistent streak. I love how he defends his actions to the council in court with 'because I love her.'
Must Love Fangs is the next book in Jessica Sims's Midnight Liaisons series. Must Love Fangs features Marie, a human who works at Midnight Liaisons, a matchmaking service the specializes in matching paranormals and Joshua Russell, flirty brother of Beau (from Beauty Dates the Beast). Marie has less then a year to live so she tries to find a vampire to turn her. Joshua is totally in love with Marie but she doesn't take him seriously cause she just sees him as a big flirt. What follows is lots of flirting, romance, secrets, and less then desirable vamps.

I enjoyed Must Love Fangs but I did feel the ending was a little abrupt. The last couple of books have really built up the premise that the Alliance or Council or whatever heck they are called won't allow humans be turned into shifters. And then Marie stands up at trial, declares her love which in turn Alice stands up and points out how silly the men are for even having this rule. Just run some background checks, make sure everyone is in love, and viola the world is perfect again. Hmmmm....I was a bit disappointed with that easy ending.

But what I wasn't disappointed in was how all the characters from previous books even made appearances. I loved reading about all the characters again. Even Miko, Jeremiah, and Sam from Wild & Steamy made an appearance. Absolutely loved that!!!
